I showed the reference photo for this painting in an earlier blog. I've been wanting to paint it ever since I took the photo at the Washington Fair in Puyallup. This little cowgirl just looked so peaceful and sweet sleeping in the hay next to her cows. I really enjoyed the day painting her:)
