Something different for Nibblefest

The theme for this month's Nibblefest is "The Secret Life of Toys". I made this little hanging ornament piece using watercolor paper and little brads to hinge the arms and legs. I would probably do a few things differently next time but it was very fun to make! Something I've never tried before. The listings start at 5:00 tonight on ebay - all start at only 99 cents - the best deal around!! The winning auction is the one that gets the most different bidders bidding on it - aka "nibbles". I look forward to this each month as a fun challenge!

These are some of the "altered art" pages in my "altered book"... We each did a page in each other's books - "Mousekeeper" and "Dancing Madonna" were done by my talented collage artist friend Evelyn and "Fairy Tales Come True" was done by her talented sister Rosanne...the rest were done by yours truly. I can't thank Roseanne enough for letting us come over and spread all our stuff all over her house to create art for the weekend! And thanks to Evelyn for going with me and for her "obscure and constant" inspiration:) Thank you my friends!!

Time is the coin of your life... It is the only coin you have and only you can determine how it will be spent Be careful lest you let other people spend it for you.

I had the most wonderful weekend - spending my time just exactly as I wanted to spend it - visiting with friends, painting, soaking in the sunshine and the beauty of nature...
