I drive through Dugualla Bay on my way to work every day. Just a couple of weeks ago I discovered a new road and took several photos including the one used for this painting. I don't know what the red bushes are but I loved the rich colors and couldn't wait to paint it!

This is a beautiful landscape! So lush. You live on Whidbey Island? I keep seeing Whidbey referenced these days. I guess I need to come visit! Looks beautiful there.
Yes I do - and it is beautiful here...you most definitely should bring your art supplies and your camera and come visit!
