Palm Springs Pepper

This is Pepper - a charming little guy that I met while visiting my friend Sandy in Palm Springs. The other friend that I went with commissioned this painting to give to her as a gift. It was really fun to remember this sweet dog as I've spent the past few nights painting him.

I went to our local First Friday gallery walk last night and as always felt the need to paint something as soon as I got home so I started this piece and finished it this morning with beautiful sunshine streaming through the studio windows!!
